VersaCalculator exists to turn complicated math into simple, accurate answers. This page explains how we build, test, write, and update our calculators, so you know what to expect when you use them.
Our Principles
- Accuracy first: A calculator is only useful if its answer is right, so correctness comes before everything else.
- People first: We create content to help the person using the tool, not just to fill a page.
- Transparency: We are open about how our tools are made and who is behind them.
- Accountability: If we get something wrong, we fix it.
How We Build and Test Our Calculators
Every calculator goes through these steps before it is published:
- Research and design: We study the topic, the formulas, and how people actually use the tool, then design the calculator and its logic around that.
- Testing from small to big: We test with small, simple inputs and very large ones. We also test edge cases such as zero, negative numbers, decimals, and extreme values, to check the result stays as accurate as possible.
- AI-assisted testing: We use advanced AI tools to help run a wide range of small and large inputs and spot unexpected results. Our editor also runs these tests personally, and people, not AI, decide whether a result is correct.
- Function-by-function check: Our team checks every field, button, and option to confirm each one works as intended.
- Device check: We confirm the calculator works correctly on phones, tablets, and desktop computers. If something doesn’t work on a device, we fix it before publishing.
A calculator is not published until it passes all of these checks.
How We Create Our Content
Our team researches each topic and adds practical knowledge and real-life examples, with images where they help. Our goal is to cover each topic in depth, in clear language, so you understand how the answer is reached and not just what it is. We write to be helpful, reliable, and people-first, in line with Google’s guidance on quality content. Where we rely on outside sources, we name them.
Updates and Corrections
We review our pages when formulas, rules, or user needs change. If you find a mistake or have a suggestion, please contact us. We review every report and correct confirmed errors promptly.
Use of AI
We use AI tools to help proofread. Our team is responsible for every calculator and article we publish. Build by human and help by ai.
